FeedForge AI quick start guide

Learn how to install the plugin, configure your WooCommerce store, check feed health, review catalog issues, and submit your OpenAI and Google feed URLs.

What you will set up

  • OpenAI-ready JSON product feed
  • Google-compatible XML product feed
  • Feed Health Check for store readiness
  • Catalog review for product-level issues
  • Stable feed URLs for merchant onboarding

Installation

Install FeedForge AI Commerce Optimizer like a regular WordPress plugin.

  1. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
  2. Upload the plugin ZIP file and click Install Now.
  3. Activate the plugin from the Plugins page.
  4. Make sure WooCommerce is installed and active.
If WooCommerce is not active, product feeds cannot be generated because the plugin uses WooCommerce product data.

Initial setup

After activation, configure the basic store information used in your feeds.

  1. Open AI Optimizer → Settings.
  2. Fill in your Seller name and Target country.
  3. Add store policy links if available: privacy, terms, shipping, refund, and FAQ pages.
  4. Save settings.
Policy links are recommended because they help external platforms understand your merchant profile and store policies.

Dashboard

The dashboard is the main control center for feed readiness, feed links, and publishing steps.

Channels

Open and copy feed URLs for OpenAI and Google-compatible product feeds.

Catalog Coverage

Review how many products are ready, need attention, or have critical issues.

Feed Health

Run a readiness check before submitting feeds to external platforms.

Publishing

Use platform links for merchant onboarding and documentation.

Feed Health Check

Run Feed Health Check before submitting your feed URLs. It helps identify setup and feed output issues.

  1. Open AI Optimizer → Dashboard.
  2. Find the Feed Health section.
  3. Click Run Health Check.
  4. Review the result. If issues are shown, open Settings or Catalog and fix the highlighted items.

Catalog review

The Catalog page helps you review product-level feed issues.

What to check

Product titles

Make sure titles are clear, factual, and useful for shoppers.

Descriptions

Use complete product descriptions without misleading claims.

Images

Check that products have valid image URLs and useful product photos.

Categories

Assign or update categories to improve feed structure and compatibility.

Feed URLs

Your feed URLs stay the same. Product data can update without changing the link you submit to platforms.

OpenAI Feed

JSON product feed prepared for OpenAI / ChatGPT merchant onboarding.

AI Optimizer → Dashboard → OpenAI → Open Feed / Copy URL

Google Feed

XML product feed compatible with Google Merchant Center feed workflows.

AI Optimizer → Dashboard → Google Gemini → Open Feed / Copy URL
You do not need to manually regenerate feeds after every product edit. Use Feed Health Check when you want to verify readiness again.

Submit feeds

Once feed health looks good and catalog issues are reviewed, copy your feed URL and submit it to the target platform.

  1. Copy the OpenAI or Google feed URL from the Dashboard.
  2. Open the target merchant platform.
  3. Paste the feed URL where the platform asks for a product feed or catalog URL.
  4. Follow the platform onboarding and review process.
FeedForge prepares your WooCommerce data and feed output. Platform acceptance, display, and product placement are controlled by each external platform.
